Accounts Receivable Supervisor
Location: Baltimore, MD
Schedule: Fully Onsite
Salary: $75,000-$85,000
A well-established organization is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead collections, cash application, and receivables operations across a large commercial portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, managing collections, and mentoring a team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts receivable, collections, cash application, and customer account management
- Monitor aging reports and reduce delinquent balances
- Supervise and support AR staff
- Resolve billing discrepancies and customer payment issues
- Partner with internal departments and external stakeholders on collection efforts
- Assist with month-end close, reporting, and audit support
- Develop and improve AR policies, procedures, and reporting
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of accounts receivable and collections experience
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience
- Strong understanding of AR reconciliations, cash applications, credits, and adjustments
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
- Experience with ERP or property management systems is a plus
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
